Description

C17510 Beryllium Copper Alloy is a malleable and castable alloy. lt is an aging precipitation strengthened copper-based alloy. After quenching and aging treatment, it has high strength, hardness, elastic limit and good stability. C17510 Beryllium Copper Alloy has corrosion resistance, wear resistance, fatigue resistance, low temperature resistance, non-magnetic, good electrical and thermal conductivity. lt has a series of advantages, such as no sparks when impacted and isknown as the "king of colored elastic materials".

 

Application

C17510 Berylium Copper Alloy, also known as alloy 3, gets its strength from precipitation heat treating. The grade of the C17510 material has a very high yield-strength-to-conductivity ratio and is good for moderate stress applications where galing is aconcern. C17510 is used mainly in aerospace and plastic mold tooling industries, this product is ideal for small electronic connector and mold tooling applications including pylon bushings for large turbine engines, conductors, relay parts, and roll pins.
